A graduate of the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and a certified Graduate Gemologist, she worked in the high-end jewelry industry, designing exquisite pieces for a discerning clientele. Surrounded by rare gemstones and fine craftsmanship, she honed her eye for detail, elegance, and energetic beauty. Yet, despite her success in the luxury world, Alexandra felt a deeper calling — one that would lead her away from the glitter of jewels and toward the light of spiritual service.


Born into a lineage of ancient esoteric alchemists and shamanic practitioners dating back to Sumerian times, Alexandra was named Priestess — Q’rmuhi — at birth. In the Afro-Caribbean practice of Palo Mayombe, her spiritual title Yaya means “Mother,” a name that has since become her affectionate nickname among both her students and her clients. From an early age, she carried the wisdom of her ancestors, blending ancient mysticism with intuitive vision to “see beyond.”


Several years into her path, Alexandra was introduced to Palo Mayombe (Regla Kongo) and was consecrated as a Yaya Nganga, a title given by her elders. Through years of dedication, she has mastered the art of merging her ancestral knowledge with the sacred practices of Palo Mayombe, creating a bridge between the old world and the new.


Her spiritual journey deepened when her husband, Carlos Viera, of Nahua-Pipil descent, introduced her to his family’s traditional Aztec/Mayan practice. Welcomed into their ancestral lineage, Alexandra was initiated to represent Mictecacihuatl, Mictlantecuhtli, and Tlaloc, working side by side with her husband and his family to preserve and honor these ancient traditions.


Today, Alexandra serves clients worldwide, offering profound spiritual services including deep mediumship through spirit possession, divination via pyromancy, lithomancy, osteomancy, and tasseography, as well as spiritual cleansings, exorcisms, and complete mind-body-spirit detoxes for both individuals and spaces. She is known for her patience, compassion, and the warrior’s strength she brings to guiding others through challenges — whether related to health, relationships, emotional blocks, professional obstacles, or spiritual attacks.


In 2020, The Healing Priestess brand expanded into a full spiritual product line, now recognized as one of the leading offerings in the occult community. Since then, Alexandra has dedicated 10% of all product sales to charitable causes — aiding abused women and children, supporting disaster relief efforts, and assisting schools in need. In July 2022, she launched the brand’s first formal mission to provide essential items to local charities, with the inaugural donation to Star of Hope in Houston, Texas, on March 2, 2023 — with many more contributions to follow.


Alexandra’s journey from designing jewels that adorned the body to creating spiritual tools that heal the soul reflects her life’s purpose: to bring beauty, balance, and ancient wisdom into the lives of those she serves.
